Our Partner in Puerto Escondido
Huellitas de Acero are a registered nonprofit dog rescue/shelter located in Puerto Escondido. We take in abandoned dogs that are injured, sick, abused, and neglected. We dedicate ourselves to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming over 130 dogs at any given time & work hard to rehab these dogs and find responsible, loving adopters locally and overseas.

Dogs of Puerto Angel is a registered 501c3 organization that helps dogs and cats all along the coast from Puerto Escondido in the north to Huatulco in the south and inland to Pochutla. Dogs of Puerto Angel is located in Oaxaca which is the poorest province in Mexico. There is currently an overpopulation of stray animals in the area who suffer from malnutrition, disease, injury, and abuse.
